Welcome to the City of New Town's website!   

 New Town is located at the heart of Lake Sakakawea on Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.  Our town is known for its hunting and fishing spots and our great casino that is constantly hosting events.  The scenery is beautiful, especially by the lake and there's always something to do outdoors.

Because of the oil boom, our small community is constantly growing but the people remain the same; helpful, friendly, and giving.  Whether you're coming to enjoy a Pow Wow, visiting us on vacation, or moving here to take advantage of our booming job market- we know you'll love our busy small town.

 

We are Excited and Saddened to announce that the Civic Center will be demo'd and rebuilt in the same location startng March 2025.

AUDITOR'S OFFICE will be relocating throughout FEBRUARY 2025.

Our office will be located at 945 EAGLE DRIVE UNIT #106 (north end of the stripmall that Subway is located in).
