Duties and Responsibilities:

The City of New Town is advertising for a Superintendent of Public Works. Superintendent will be responsible for the management of theStreets and Sanitation Departments.

High School Graduate or equivalent required. Technical training in vehicles and heavy equipment maintenance helpful. Must be able to operate heavy equipment and perform required maintenance and diagnose problems or explain problems to a mechanic if needed. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. Must be able to work with others in a positive, professional manner. Management experience is desired; superintendent will need to develop and retain city staff as well as provide on the job training to employees. Must have a valid North Dakota driver’s license.

This position will offer a competitive compensation package dependent upon qualifications. The salary range for qualifiedindividuals is $70,000-$80,000 peryear.
